Affiliations, Memberships and Awards
Current and former professional affiliations and representations of our Live Wire Productions Plus founder, Toy Parker, include: Professional level membership in the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment, National Association of Female Executives, Black Triad Media Professionals, Stars Talent Network, Avanti Management, The Brock Agency, and the Writer's Market. Her professional awards include but are not limited to: 2005 Cigna Champion Award, 2003 Cigna Circle of Excellence Award, and 2009-2010 Cambridge Who's Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs recognition.
Parker is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and is currently completing her master's degree in business administration with a concentration in management at Strayer University. Parker also gives back to her community through her public speaking workshops against domestic violence, and through her diligent work as a Bible, public speaking, and history instructor at Word of God Christian Academy in Raleigh, North Carolina.
